Thriving Motherhood
Supporting moms who are figuring it out
A six- week virtual support group
Being a new parent can present significant challenges for many women. It can be difficult to find equilibrium while adjusting to the new joys, responsibilities, and experiences of motherhood. It can feel like a struggle to move past surviving to thriving.
The Thriving Motherhood support group brings together new mothers to explore many of the critical topics which arise with being a parent. Dr. Kristie Adloff, a mother of three, is passionate about promoting health and well-being from an early age and empowering women to learn from each other and build off of their own successes.
In the sixty-minute group sessions, participants will create a network to support one another, provide connection, and harness the knowledge of the group. Each session will examine a maternal and child issue such as sleep, self-care, clarifying life priorities, stress management, understanding changing relationship dynamics, and managing the uncertainty of parenthood. Dr. Adloff will provide an overview of each topic and then facilitate conversation where participants will discuss their experiences and consider real life strategies that work. Using this approach, moms will learn from each other and build a parenting style that reflects their priorities.
Learn skills and knowledge to increase your confidence in parenting in a way that feels right for your family. Virtual sessions will consist of 6-8 participants and meet weekly for six weeks. Participants will be in the greater Boston area. The six session program costs $300 and runs on Wednesdays from 12:30 to 1:30. The first session will begin on October 20, 2021.
